sprout (she/they) is a spiritual avatar that came into being out of a meditation vision of the classic wooden puppet Pinocchio going up in flames like a Phoenix, to be born again as the sprout of a new tree.
sprout is a being who dances in the liminal space between our social conditioning and our essential being in the ever-changing web of life on this little blue planet.
sprout’s offer is to help us navigate the path from living from our hardwired survival systems (in separation and isolation) to living from our hearts (in connection and belonging).

As an interfaith community chaplain and spiritual companion, Jeannette Bessinger (she/her) is moved and inspired by our collective human efforts to live deeply and in connection, even in the midst of great challenge and suffering.
She feels privileged to be able to work creatively with and through sprout to address complex cultural and spiritual topics in fresh, accessible, practical ways. Power tools for the people!
Despite all the apparent evidence to the contrary, rev J believes in the power of humans to move beyond our ancient survival wiring to work for the collective good of the planet.
